Choose an account around the transactions
A good banking relationship begins with a match between the institution and the client’s actual activity. An account that cannot receive your settlement funds, pay your suppliers or support the currencies you use is not a useful result, even if the opening was easy.
We assist with personal, company and brokerage account needs where a suitable route is available. The first conversation establishes the purpose, ownership, countries and intended transactions before we accept an engagement.
An account that supports the transactions you need
- Assessment of your profile against suitable available institutions.
- Coordination of the accepted application and supporting evidence.
- Follow-through to a suitable account, using alternative routes where necessary under the accepted engagement.
When this is a good fit
This fits a person or business with a clear account purpose and a documentable activity and funding history. We assess availability before accepting the work.
Why work with Offshore Capitalist
The team matches the real profile before beginning applications and follows through on the accepted engagement. Our suitable-account assurance gives the service a concrete objective rather than ending at an introduction.
Bank, payment institution or brokerage?
These products solve different needs. A business may need operating payments and access for several staff. An individual may need a personal account, investment custody or a place to receive documented sale proceeds. A payment institution may provide useful rails while having a different legal and protection framework from a bank.
We clarify which function is essential, whether deposits or investments are involved, expected balances, transaction sizes, currencies and access requirements. The label “offshore account” does not communicate enough to choose well.
| Use case | Practical requirements to establish |
|---|---|
| Operating business | Customer receipts, supplier payments, payroll, currencies, users and transaction limits. |
| Holding or investment entity | Ownership, investment activity, distributions and the economic reason for the account. |
| Personal international banking | Residence, expected funding, payments, access and ongoing document requirements. |
| Brokerage or custody | Asset types, residence eligibility, legal owner, funding route and account permissions. |
A coherent application file
The application needs to explain who owns and controls the account holder, what it does and why its expected money flows make sense. Corporate documents, a website and a bank statement can tell inconsistent stories if the structure has changed without the records being updated.
Provider requirements vary. We establish the actual checklist for the proposed institution and coordinate the agreed application and follow-up. FATF standards provide an international background to customer and beneficial-owner due diligence, while each institution applies the rules and risk policy relevant to it.
Source of wealth explains how the person built their wealth; source of funds explains the particular money entering the account. A crypto sale, business distribution and sale of a company need different supporting narratives and records. The objective is an intelligible evidence trail, not simply a larger pile of documents.
How the account-opening engagement works
We first assess whether the profile fits an available institution’s appetite. If we accept the engagement, the team coordinates the agreed route and the supporting material. A bank can request more information or change the terms it is prepared to offer.
Our accepted banking engagements aim to obtain a suitable account. Where necessary, we can explore an alternative institution or route. If we cannot obtain a suitable account, our customer-service assurance is to refund the Offshore Capitalist fee. The client must be willing to accept a suitable account that we obtain.
This is not a promise of acceptance by a named bank or an automatic entitlement for every applicant. Suitability, the intended use and the scope are established before the engagement is accepted.
Evaluate the account after approval
Opening is one milestone. The account still needs working credentials, verified funding instructions, the correct users and a practical understanding of payment limits, fees and support. Review how the actual transactions will move before relying on the account for business-critical collections.
Keep the institution informed of material changes in activity, ownership and residence. An account accepted for one business model may not fit a substantially different one. A second suitable relationship can improve continuity, but additional accounts also bring administration and cost.
What we need for an initial assessment
Explain the real activity directly, including any regulated or restricted sector, crypto exposure or previous account difficulty. Accurate disclosure helps us establish whether a credible route is available. Disguising an activity makes the result less durable.
For the first inquiry, a concise description, the legal owner, current countries and intended transactions are usually more useful than uploading every financial record. Tijana and the team can establish the next information request through the agreed process.
Scope, cost and the next step
The first inquiry is free. Tijana and the team establish the situation and propose the appropriate engagement. We confirm the deliverables, fee basis, external charges and timing dependencies before you commit. A focused paid call with Michael may be useful when a specific question needs his input.
Describe the countries involved and the outcome you want. We will identify the information needed to make the scope concrete, rather than quote a package that leaves essential work unspecified.
