From inquiry to implementation

The analytical design phase has historically taken four to eight weeks. Implementation follows the agreed plan and depends on the authorities and providers involved.

01Initial inquiry & fitBefore a paid engagement+

Tijana and the team review your goals, the countries involved and whether relocation or overseas operations are practical. The inquiry can lead to a complete engagement, an individual service, a structure review or a focused paid call.

Documents & evidence

  • A short explanation of the goal and existing arrangements.
Common complications
  • Choosing a country before identifying the problem and operational constraints.
02Scope & information gatheringAgreed at the outset+

We define the questions, deliverables, responsibilities and fees, then assemble the information needed for the analysis. Information gaps and matters requiring local professional input are identified.

Documents & evidence

  • Ownership and operating structure.
  • Relevant contracts, financial information and existing advice through the agreed secure process.
Common complications
  • Leaving significant ownership, family or business arrangements out of the initial picture.
03Analysis & strategy designTypically four to eight weeks for the analytical phase+

The advisory team evaluates the relevant jurisdictions and mechanisms. Michael reviews and critiques the work. The written reasoning compares alternatives, records dependencies and supports important propositions with sources.

Documents & evidence

  • Documented options and recommendation.
  • Sources, assumptions and implementation dependencies.
Common complications
  • Mistaking a company tax rate for the combined result or ignoring ongoing costs.
04Presentation & implementation scopeAfter the strategy is approved+

Michael presents the strategy. The team confirms the chosen workstreams, sequencing, external providers and practical responsibilities before carrying the plan into effect.

Documents & evidence

  • Agreed implementation plan and responsibilities.
Common complications
  • Starting a transaction before its departure-tax, banking or contractual dependencies are resolved.
05Implementation & handoverRoute-specific; confirmed for each workstream+

The fulfilment team coordinates the agreed companies, applications, banking and other work. Handover records who will maintain the entities, retain evidence and handle renewals and filings. A separate periodic review can be scoped.

Documents & evidence

  • Company and account records as delivered.
  • Renewal schedule and agreed ongoing responsibilities.
Common complications
  • Assuming that every future filing or technical review is included without an agreed scope.

Scope, fees and responsibilities

The initial conversation establishes whether a complete engagement, a specific service or a review fits. We then agree the deliverables, fee basis, third-party charges and responsibilities. A paid call with Michael can be an appropriate next step when a focused question needs his input.
