A company and residence setup chosen for the business you actually operate, with one defined implementation scope and a clear handover for ongoing obligations.
- Financial requirements
- Company licence, premises and residence costs depend on the selected authority and activity.
- Presence & absences
- In-person medical and identity steps; the selected residence category determines absence limits.
- Timing & validity
- Company setup and residence are separate stages; authority targets begin after prerequisites.
- Family considerations
- Separate dependant applications, relationship evidence and sponsor conditions.
Who this is for
- Entrepreneurs who want a UAE operating base and a residence route connected to that business.
- Owners who need licensing, banking and immigration considered together before choosing a free zone.
- Families whose move depends on coordinating the principal’s setup and separate dependant applications.
What we help coordinate
- Compare the appropriate authority, activity and company structure against your operating requirements.
- Review the proposed owner-residence route and household dependencies before committing to a licence.
- Coordinate company documents, provider work and the application sequence included in your engagement.
- Schedule the agreed residence, medical and identity work and identify what requires your presence.
- Include departure-tax analysis, banking, payment processing or ongoing administration where separately agreed.
- Provide a handover of records, renewal responsibilities and continuing obligations.
The engagement begins with an agreed written scope. Local legal, immigration and other provider work is identified separately where required.
Why work with us
- The business and personal plans are assessed together, so the incorporation decision supports the move you want to make.
- Our jurisdiction-agnostic approach lets us assess the UAE against alternatives when the destination is still an open question.
- Your proposal identifies deliverables, dependencies and external-provider responsibilities, then the implementation team carries the agreed work forward.
Understand the full cost
Build a complete setup budget
Ask for a written schedule distinguishing authority charges, third-party costs and Offshore Capitalist’s work. An advertised licence price rarely describes every dependency of a household move.
| Cost component | How it should be scoped |
|---|---|
| Company and licence | Selected activity, entity, office arrangement, visa allocation and renewal basis. |
| Immigration and identity | Owner’s permit, entry or status change, medical, Emirates ID and insurance. |
| Family applications | Each dependant’s application, documentary work and relevant sponsor requirements. |
| Professional work | Advice, document coordination and local filing assistance expressly included in the proposal. |
| Ongoing operations | Accounting, tax filings, licence and immigration renewals, premises and agreed administration. |
How to read these figures
Professional fees & additional costs
- Service fees are quoted after the company, authority, activities and household are understood.
- Authority and provider costs, premises, owner and dependant applications, insurance and document work are itemised separately.
- The proposal distinguishes initial setup from recurring licence, immigration, accounting and administration costs.
Eligibility & suitability
Who can qualify
- Owners establishing a real licensed business whose selected authority supports an investor, partner or appropriate company-sponsored residence application.
- Applicants able to complete the authority’s identity, medical, insurance and immigration checks.
Restrictions & unsuitable cases
- A company registration without a qualifying residence sponsorship arrangement.
- Treating all free zones, mainland licences and offshore holding companies as interchangeable.
- Choosing the visa before confirming whether the licence covers the intended activity.
From business choice to residence handover
Agree the authority and route first. The steps below show the dependencies; published service targets do not include every preparation stage.
01Define the activity and scopeBefore committing to a licence
Describe ownership, business activity, customer locations, banking needs and who will move. Agree the proposed licence, residence category and responsibilities.
02Prepare and register the businessDMCC example: typically around 10 working days; documentation and approval dependent
DMCC’s formation process uses pre-approval, payment and signing, an office solution and electronic licensing. Ownership and business records depend on the selected formation type.
03Apply for the owner’s residenceAfter company and immigration prerequisites
04Complete medical and identity stepsIn-country appointments and authority processing
Complete the medical, insurance and identity requirements. RAKEZ requires biometrics for first-time residence applicants; existing Emirates ID holders follow a different submission path. Distinguish issuance from physical ID delivery.
05Coordinate family and handoverWhen sponsor requirements are met
Complete separately scoped family applications, then record permit and licence expiries, absence conditions and the administration responsibilities.

Plan for every family member

Before you commit
Is this the same service as the Golden Visa?
No. This engagement coordinates an operating company and a suitable company-related residence route. Golden Visa support has a separate eligibility assessment and application scope. We can compare the two before recommending either.
Do I need to choose a free zone first?
Bring any options you are considering, but begin with your business activity, ownership, banking and residence needs. We can scope the comparison before you pay an authority or provider.
Can the package include my family?
Yes, family work can be included in the agreed scope. Each person’s route, evidence and dependency on the principal’s status needs to be established separately.
Will the company and visa guarantee a bank account?
No. A bank assesses its own requirements. We consider the expected activity, ownership, customer markets and payment flows before choosing the setup, and identify banking work separately.
How long does company formation with residency take?
We plan company licensing, immigration permissions and in-person steps separately. A published authority target applies to the stated service and package; it is not a guaranteed total for an owner and family. We confirm the selected investor, partner or employment category, preparation requirements and appointment dependencies before proposing a schedule.
What happens after the initial inquiry?
Tijana and the team review the proposed business and household, clarify the work needed and outline the next step. You receive a written scope and quote before starting.
Discuss your move
Tell Tijana and the team where you live, your citizenships, who would move with you and your target timing. We will assess the fit and outline the next step. There is no charge for the initial inquiry.
